3. Getting Started


Your Tablet


PT+ Clinic has been built for Android tablets only. As part of our beta program, we have shipped a courtesy Android tablet to your clinic with PT+ Clinic pre-installed for your convenience. This tablet has been configured without a password or security code. You may wish to add one to protect your device.

Your Tablet's Email Address


Your tablet has its own email address, with its own associated Google account. You can access the tablet's email account using the tablet's Gmail app, which has already been added to your Home screen.

We've done this for security and privacy reasons, since many of our beta clinics will share a tablet, and tablets do not support multiple user accounts. Unless you will be the sole user of the tablet, for your privacy, we do not recommend adding personal email accounts to your tablet, saving any personal passwords, or signing into any personal apps on the tablet.

You'll use the tablet's email address as part of the process for creating your own PT+ Clinic account, and for adding other practitioners to your account.

Adding your Wifi network


To use PT+ Clinic, your tablet must be connected to the Internet.

Please follow Google’s directions for connecting to a wifi network.
